Madera County Fire Truck Pull Event Open to ALL Counties

What is it? Our Local Law Enforcement as well as Public Service Agencies are gathering teams of 8 to pull a 55,000-lb fire truck. The team with the fastest pull will be named the Fire Truck Pull Champions as well as receive the coveted trophy! Special Olympics is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through sports, education and athlete health. The average cost to send an athlete to compete in each sport is around $300. The average athlete competes in about 3 different sports in a given Special Olympic Event. Special Olympics of Madera County is proud to offer free training and competitions for over 50 Special Olympics athletes. Special Olympics relies on the support, compassion, and generosity from individuals, organizations, small businesses, and corporations to continue to offer these sports and services free of charge. This year SONC is celebrating their 50-year anniversary.

Where is it? Law Enforcement and Public Service Agencies are hosting and participating in this event during the Madera Pomegranate Festival on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. at the Madera Fairgrounds.
