  Grizzly Century Bike Ride
The 18th annual Grizzly Century Bike Ride takes place on the first Saturday of October. The ride has a little bit for everyone, including a 26 mile ride around Bass Lake, a popular Central Sierra camping spot, and 100K and 100 mile rides on the spectacular Sierra Vista National Scenic Byway. The event begins at 6:30am with breakfast hosted by the Lion's Club. Riders are off the course by around 5:30pm in time to enjoy a barbecue hosted by the Sierra National Forest Service employees. Throughout the ride there are several rest stops with goodies and lunch provided. Riders receive a T-shirt and other items with their registration. Jerseys are also available. Annual Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century and Time Trial Bicycle Run... a 200 mile bicycle event that has to be complete in 24 hours; there is also a 5.3 Time Trial starting at mile 70, prizes are given to the winner of the Time Trial.
